The standard post for our Red Cedar and Treated Pine Pergolas measures 5" square. Although the finished product looks like a solid piece of lumber, our posts are actually produced by gluing four #1 KDAT treated lumber 2x6's together. Then the posts are planed and sanded until the seams are virtually invisible. This process results in a superior quality product, and virtually eliminates the chance for posts to warp or twist. In fact, it is actually stronger than a solid 6x6 piece of lumber.

Note: Final mounted height is approximately 8’ for standard post height. The posts ship with additional height for in-ground mounting. If you require taller or heavier posts, please select from the options on the side, or talk to your Project Advisor.
