Recycled plastic furniture is made from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), a recyclable plastic that will never need to be painted or stained. It contains an added UV protective agent to resist fading.

The advantage of having recycled plastic planks is there is virtually no maintenance. The only thing that you need to be sure to do is to keep it free of debris to prevent mold and mildew. Please avoid placing flower pots or any items that will leave stains. If there are spills or stains, a mild soap can be used or if you choose a simpler way, the garden hose or pressure washer is sufficient. Do not place hot items directly onto furniture to avoid melting. All hardware is stainless steel and virtually maintenance free under normal conditions. However, in coastal areas, hardware should be rinsed regularly with fresh water to avoid rusting. Properly maintained, recycled plastic lumber items will allow you to relax for many years!
