Protecting Your Product
Hammocks, Mindon Oakweave chairs, and accessories are constructed of tough weather resistant materials. Under normal use, your hammock product will last for years. You can increase its useful life by storing it in a dry location during seasons when it’s not in use and protecting hammock and Mindon Oakweave hammock chair rope from dogs, rodents, and other animals which might chew or nest in the rope.

Cleaning
The synthetic bed of your hammock or Mindon Oakweave chair is washable with warm water and a mild detergent or soap. Don’t use harsh chemical cleaners or bleach. Rinse well and let it dry thoroughly before storing. Hammock pillow covers are readily removed and similarly washable.

Wood Finish
Your hammock or Mindon Oakweave chair is made from solid white oak, one of the most weather resistant woods found naturally in North America. Left alone, wood in our products will weather to a natural barn grey. If you prefer to keep the look of finished wood, and to extend the usable life of the wood, we recommend you varnish or oil it regularly, at least once per year.
