Handcrafted from seasoned solid cherry and treated with an exterior clear oil finish. If left outside, they will weather naturally and should be retreated occasionally. As with any natural wood product, changes in temperature and/or humidity, snow or rain may cause very small cracks to appear and disappear. This will not impair the structural strength of the furniture.

Cherry is rated by the U.S. Forestry Service as being one of the best woods for decay resistance.
