The 2x6 main runners mount easily to the brackets that are pre installed on the beams with the screws that are provided. These runners need inserts to keep them strong and prevent bowing. Inserts are available either with standard wooden inserts or the optional aluminum channels. Decorative end caps are included and are already mounted to keep the assembly quick and easy.

The decorative 1x1 top runners are heavy duty hollow vinyl channels that are surprisingly rigid.
