Our beams are either double or triple 2x8’s depending on the size of the structure. They are designed by engineers to ensure the heavy support needed for decades of use. Standard beams have a clear span of up to 16'. A Ramada with a listed size of 16’ or less would require 4 posts, one in each corner.Ramadas with a size listed over 18' require an additional post to support the center of the beam. Our corner braces add style, but more importantly add lateral strength to the entire structure.
