Synthetic, thermoplastic polymer used for molded items, sheets, films and fibers. The Federal Trade Commission classification is Olefin. Today it represents over 35% of the total fibers used in carpet manufacturing. It is naturally stain and fade resistant. Excellent for indoor or outdoor use. Most often used in loop pile constructions. The machine-woven quality of easy-care polypropylene and the textural loop construction adds unique surface interest.
