Stain/Sealer
Stains help protect the wood from decay, insects, and weather conditions such as rain and snow. Choosing a stain also offers a personalized touch by altering the color of the wood, but allows the natural wood grain to show through the stain color.

We recommend re-staining wood products once every two years for the best preservation of the wood. Unstained or unfinished wood will gray over time, settling into a rustic gray patina, but this does not effect the strength of the lumber.
