Installation Tips
  • If it is for residential use, and not outrageously long, it can simply be rolled out and does not need to be affixed, though with shifting sand they may need to be rolled up and rerolled out so they don’t get buried.

  • They can be used temporarily, take them with you on vacation and bring them back home!
  • If for commercial use, the above works, but if it is going to get heavy traffic you can install a sub deck of 2x4 or 4x4's. If it will be placed in sand you can anchor it with rebar or other each anchor's. For sand, on a beach, those anchors may need to be quite deep.

  • You can simply set the walkway on top without screwing it down, depending on customer use and desire. If unscrewed, they can easily be rolled back up if a storm is coming!
  • The slats can then be screwed to the 2x4 or 4x4s. Make sure the walkway is stretched taunt, and screw in every couple feet. Overhang the slats about 6". Sand can be used to fill in the gaps, or can be left elevated.
