Our shed floors start with 4x4 foundation runners (AKA skids) that are pressure treated and ready for ground contact with a .60 lumber retention rating. The number of runners depends on the width of the shed.

Number of runners by width:
  6' wide shed - 2 runners
  8' wide shed - 3 runners
  10' wide shed - 5 runners
  12' wide shed - 5 runners
  14' wide shed - 7 runners

These runners are not included with the 2x8 Floor Joists option due to their ability to lift the shed floor all on their own.
