The word Cupola (pronounced cu’-puh-luh, depending on where you live!) comes from the Latin meaning “little cupo” or little dome. Sometimes described as a “roof over a hole in the roof”, a cupola was originally used for ventilation, but is now primarily decorative.
The cupola for belle roofs measures 32” L x 18” W x 32” H and uses a vinyl base with a real copper roof. Structures using asphalt shingles also have the option of replacing the copper roof with matching asphalt shingles.
