Adding a Cedar Tongue and Groove ceiling will provide your cabana with lavish styling. Both serving to hide structural beams and to add beauty, Western Red Cedar is a beautiful, rich hardwood that naturally resists insects and decay. Tongue and groove joints allow two flat pieces to be strongly joined together to make a flat surface. Each plank has a slot (the groove) cut along one edge, and a thin, deep ridge (the tongue) on the opposite edge. The planks simply join together for a snug, strong fit. The 2x6 Cedar planks are stronger and thicker than our paneling, and the boards arrive pre-cut with the trim for corners and the top of the walls included. The Cedar can be left to weather naturally, or protected with a stain or sealer.
