Our cedar gazebo floors are 100% Western Red Cedar, including the band boards that trim the outside of the base. Treated Pine lumber is used for the joists to help maintain floor strength. Western Red Cedar is chemical-free; its natural oils provide a unique resistance to wood decay and insect damage. Western Red Cedar is the material of choice for projects in which strength and durability are as important as style and beauty. Cedar may be sealed and stained to maintain its original appearance, or allowed to weather to its natural rich, silver color. Our Western Red Cedar flooring is strong enough to support a hot tub, tough enough to withstand nature’s toughest elements and attractive enough to satisfy the most discriminating tastes.

Most of the decking boards are nailed to the floor frame at the factory, with the exception of a few, which are left off for easier assembly of the floor sections – those 2x6 decking boards are screwed into place by the customer know as to complete the floor.
