Structures that have a roof are available with or without Cupolas. Cupolas were originally created to aid in the ventilation of a structure, but have since become more of a decorative finish that is optional.

If you choose this “No Cupola” option, the roof on a square structure will come to a point and the peak will be capped with shingles. The rectangular models will have a ridge line which is also capped with shingles.
