Our Covered Bridges have a standard Green Metal roof. Ribbed panels are made of 29 gauge high tensile steel, are resistant to dents, and will not expand or contract with the weather. In addition, snow will slide off the metal easier than other roofing, enhancing the protection from the elements in higher snow areas.

Each panel is coated with Galavalume, a patented aluminum / zinc alloy coating for extra protection. Panels are then bonded and epoxy primer is applied. Epoxy primer supplies flexibility and provides an excellent base for the final coat. Cream-A-Sil, a ceramic pigmented silicone polyester, supplies strength, hardness, and durability against the effects of sun, wind, rain, heat, and cold. It is extremely resistant to mildew. No blistering, peeling, or flaking either!

Exposed Fasteners roofs will include screws (of the same color) to attach the precut roof sections to your roof frame. A standing seam roof is available by special quote - Standing seam roofs have no visible fasteners, and would need to be cut on site by the installer. Ask a design consultant for more information.
