What’s a Ramada?

Background
In the southwestern US, a Ramada was a temporary or permanent shelter comprised primarily by a roof, though some were partially enclosed on occasion. Ramadas were traditionally constructed with branches or bushes by Native Americans living in the region. The term today is generally applied to permanent concrete, wooden, or steel structures used to shelter objects or people from the sun.

Our Ramadas
Unlike the centuries old twigs and branches architecture, our ramadas are designed for use as a backyard shelter that can protect you from sun, rain, or snow while remaining an elegant open outdoor area for leisure and entertaining. Of course, because of the modern design and engineering, our ramadas are no longer confined to the deserts of the southwest, and can resist heavy winds and snow found in other parts of the world.
